THE STORY
Laurel & Nicholas had an incredibly gorgeous wedding day at a City Winery in Hudson Valley, NY. They both got ready on property with their closest friends and family. Laurel wanted to have garden wildflowers present everywhere, and Nicholas put his finest craftsmanship into the wooden pieces of decor all throughout the day. You could tell the amount of love that poured into every detail stood for them. From flowers to frames filled with photos of loved ones I could see the whole story and how much their people meant to them.
They decided to do a first look as well as exchange private vows. Since it was scorching hot outside, we decided to use a unique piece of the venue with beautiful natural light flooding in.
After their first look and some portraits we flowed right into friends and family portraits before taking some time to get prepped for their ceremony. Laurel’s dad had passed before her wedding so it was a super emotional ceremony to be a part of. Her mom gave her away and her brother shared a tearful moment with following their “I do’s”.
They danced the night away in honor of their loved ones who weren’t able to be there with them and made the most of their day. I truly had such an amazing time with this couple as well as their friends and family.
