Nashville Elopement

The Story

Rie and Darren’s elopement felt like a slow day around Nashville.

We started at their apartment with a quiet, steady morning. No rushing, no pressure, just easing into the day together before heading out.

From there, we made our way to the Parthenon. It was a cloudy December afternoon, just a few days before Christmas, which gave us really soft light and a calm atmosphere. There were a few people around, but for the most part, it felt quiet and easy to move through.

They had already held their ceremony on a different day, so this time was fully about exploring, taking photos, and spending time together without anything else to focus on.

We originally planned one more stop, but by the end of it, they were hungry and ready to relax, so we scrapped the plan and went to Dicey’s Pizza instead.

It ended up being the perfect way to close out the day. No strict timeline, no over planning, just adjusting as we went and leaning into what felt right in the moment.

Amiee was absolutely phenomenal, she captured every magical moment of my wedding day. It didn’t feel impersonal or like I had to go through the motions of posing for photos, but it felt like I was hanging out with my own hype woman. The photos exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be more grateful for her!
