Kasera & Jack

Engagement Session

The Story

When you’re planning an engagement session in Nashville, you can’t always predict the traffic — especially on steeplechase weekend! Kasera and Jack’s session at the Allée Steps and Belle Meade Entrance of Percy Warner Park happened to fall on the same weekend as the big race, and traffic was wild. We ended up starting 45 minutes late, but these two brought such good energy that it didn’t matter one bit.

Once we met up, we took our time exploring the park. Percy Warner’s Allée Steps are one of my favorite Nashville engagement photo locations, with their classic stone staircase, tree-lined pathways, and timeless charm. From there, we wandered around the Belle Meade Entrance, soaking in the late spring greens and warm light.

Kasera and Jack were such a joy to photograph — full of belly laughs, sweet moments, and easy chemistry. We swapped stories, enjoyed the sunshine, and created images that feel like them.

If you’re planning your own Nashville engagement session, here’s my biggest takeaway from this day: sometimes the best photos happen when things don’t go exactly as planned. All you really need is a beautiful location, great energy, and the willingness to roll with whatever the day brings.
